Marshmallow Puff

During development, our primary objective was to achieve a texture that feels gentle yet controlled. Excessive softness can reduce handling precision, while insufficient support compromises finish stability. Through repeated foam adjustments, we established a more balanced structure, similar in handling expectations to a marshmallow makeup sponge.
When pressed, the puff recovers quickly, delivering a light, cushioned feel with noticeable airiness. At the same time, it maintains structural integrity against the skin, avoiding uncontrolled deformation or collapse. This behaviour is particularly beneficial during setting and base layering, as it helps soften powder edges and produces a more refined surface effect, a quality often associated with a marshmallow makeup sponge.

In production, uniform density is treated as a key control point. Localised softness or hardness is carefully avoided, as it would disrupt overall hand feel. By standardising foaming and forming processes, we ensure that each batch delivers a highly consistent user experience.
From long-term manufacturing practice, marshmallow-type puffs require a high level of process stability.
