Facial Cleansing Puff Definition

A facial cleansing puff is a beauty tool used for facial cleansing. It is typically made primarily of PVA (polyvinyl alcohol), processed and foamed using a special technique. Its surface is rich in micropores, resulting in a delicate, soft texture and strong water absorption.

It combines cleansing, exfoliation, and massage functions. It effectively absorbs oil, dirt, and makeup residue from pores. Gently wiping the face in circular motions helps remove blackheads and dead skin, promoting local blood circulation.

Some products also use microfiber or add antibacterial materials (such as bamboo fiber or silver ion nanocapsules) to enhance cleansing power and hygiene.

Facial cleansing puffs are hard when dry but swell and soften when wet. After use, they should be squeezed dry and air-dried to inhibit bacterial growth.

Since they come into direct contact with the skin, it is recommended to replace them regularly, generally every 1 to 3 months, or immediately if they become damaged, develop an odor, or harden.
