Facial Cleansing Puff Materials

PVA (Polyvinyl Alcohol): This is currently the most common material for facial cleansing puffs on the market. Made through a special foaming process, it is rich in micron-sized honeycomb pores, highly absorbent, and has a soft, delicate texture. When it comes into contact with water, it expands and feels as dense as a cloud, effectively absorbing oil and dirt while minimizing bacterial growth. Some high-end products use food-grade PVA, which is safe and non-irritating, suitable for sensitive skin.

Plant Fiber/Natural Wood Pulp: Made from natural wood fibers or plant-based materials, this material has a breathable structure and good water absorption. When wet, it becomes fluffy and flexible, gently foaming and reducing skin irritation. It is not prone to mold or deterioration and is highly durable, making it a preferred choice for those seeking a natural and environmentally friendly option.

Natural Sponge: Some products use natural sponge materials imported from Greece, etc. This material is extremely soft and can deeply cleanse pores, suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Other synthetic sponges or inferior materials: Some low-priced products may use ordinary sponges, which may cause skin damage from friction with prolonged use. It is recommended to choose products labeled "for sensitive skin" or "free of fluorescent agents and formaldehyde."
